Mascot Camp

The Mascot Camp is a half-day, drive-in conference at the Univ. of Rhode Island designed for students and staff working with college mascot programs.

The Mascot Camp is a half-day, drive-in conference designed for students and staff working with college mascot programs, hosted by the NACA Northeast Region. Taking place on Feb. 6, 2026, from 1:00–6:00 PM at University of Rhode Island, this event will feature educational sessions on effective mascot program management, marketing strategies, and supervision best practices.

Registration is $25 for NACA members and $40 for non-members. Registration includes dinner.

  • 2:00-2:30 p.m. - Mascot Best Practices and History
  • 2:30-3:00 p.m. - Break and Networking
  • 3:00-3:30 p.m. - Marketing and recruiting for your team
  • 3:30-4:00 p.m. - Student and Supervisor Breakout (Supervising Mascots, Student Experience Session)
  • 4:00-5:00 p.m. - Mascot Expo
  • 5:00-6:00 p.m. - Dinner and Closing
