Facilitation School

Whether it's a meeting, a training, or a leadership program, facilitation can make or break the experience for participants.

Facilitation School, brought to you by the Leadership Training Studio and The Whitespace Group, provides participants with facilitation advice, directions, and recommendations. Facilitation is a skill we do all the time, yet receive little to no training. Facilitation can make or break an experience, whether it's a meeting, a training, a leadership program, etc. This two day, virtual synchronous program is designed for early- to mid-level professionals and is grounded in years of research and personal experience. The program shares the best tips, tricks, and techniques for facilitators and will help you have more authenticity and presence in front of a room, regardless of size.

Who should attend? 

  • Anyone who wants to get better at the art of facilitation.
  • Leadership development educators who create programs and want to learn how to facilitate well.
  • Front line staff who deliver programs to various communities and audiences.
  • Directors or managers who oversee a team of facilitators.

This session is available for six Core area Continuing Education Credits. 

NACA has been approved by the Higher Education Consortium for Student Affairs Certification to provide CE credit for Certified Student Affairs Educators (CSAEd). Programs that qualify for CE credit in this program are clearly identified. NACA is solely responsible for all aspects of this program.
