Summer Essentials
All your training needs, all in one place!
Summer Essentials is an education program that focuses on various themes during the summer. Through virtual sessions developed to improve knowledge, build connections, and engage in shared learning experiences, the series provides students and campus professionals an opportunity to learn in a virtual environment.
Summer Essentials has videos and resources appropriate for programming boards, student government, student organizations, and student organization advisors. This year’s program features nine (9) new sessions, providing over 17 hours of content, and includes topics such as Data Literacy in Campus Activities and Radical Hospitality. Access Summer Essentials on a computer or on your smartphone. You get to choose who on your campus accesses the program and it provides flexibility. Use it to train teams over the summer or onboard in the fall. Summer Essentials is flexible, asynchronous training for the whole campus.
For one price, NACA members will receive access to recorded sessions that cover topics such as working with contracts, event planning basics, writing legislation, parliamentary procedure, assessment, and more. Sessions are applicable to both student and advisor audiences.
Summer Essentials 2025 information will be available starting May 1.
