The Power of Your True Self

Description:

Realizing who your true self really is can be hard to do and even more difficult to be. KnightKrawler uses motivational techniques and spoken word to show students how to find out who they want to be and how to use that to impact those around them positively. In this session, participants will be involved via crowd participation activities, team-building simulations, small group discussions, and lecture, all geared towards personal development. The material presented can be used after the session by individuals to further build communication skills, interpersonal skills, and emotional intelligence.

Flyers Aren’t Enough: How Promotional Products and Text Messaging Elevate Your Marketing

Making a flyer and posting on social media is the absolute bare minimum for marketing your event. Choosing the right promotional items and adding text message reminders are what round out a complete marketing strategy.

This session will dig into why promotional items are a critical part of a successful organization while giving your student body something really cool that they will actually use every day.

Then, we’ll dive into why using event reminders via text message is an integral part of making sure students actually show up!

From Incarceration to Exoneration: Finding Connection through Conflict

Presenter: Sonja Morgan & John Bunn, John Bunn: A Voice for the Unheard

Through sharing his story of being wrongfully convicted and incarcerated at age 14 and the long and tumultuous journey to full exoneration, John Bunn will work with participants to identify the sources of conflict in their own lives and how to apply his "Reason before Reaction" framework to engage with and move through challenging situations. You will hear inspiring, real life examples of how applying intention, values, and reflection to your interpersonal interactions can help you become a better leader and team member. Learn how to be more effective in bringing people together and accomplishing your goals!
