NACA Birmingham

NACA® Birmingham · Oct. 31-Nov. 2, 2024

Get ready for a new and improved NACA Conference experience incorporating the thoughts and ideas you have shared over the last few years.

New Conference Schedule!

Designed to be more compact and impactful. Conference will span 2+ days – primarily on Friday and Saturday – with some programming to occur Thursday night.

New Additions to Education & Training!

  • Newly designed Kickoff Session near the start and Action Planning Session during the closing dinner. These facilitated sessions will prepare you to make the most of your conference experience with a focus on assessment, business relationships, calendaring, and goal setting. Leave the conference experience with an action plan to implement once you get back to campus.
  • New Educational Tracks that include Event Management, Leadership, and Governance. Attend all 4 sessions in a track and earn a Certificate of Completion.
  • Enhanced Business Connections track focused on building business relationships, bridging programming gaps, and accomplishing your programming goals using NACA.
  • Earn Continuing Education (CE) credits towards your Certified Student Affairs Educator core & Campus Activities specialty certifications. CSAEd Web.png

New Networking Events!

Look for more dedicated time to networking between fellow schools and associate members. Opportunities to meet new friends, reconnect with old friends, source ideas and solutions, collaborate, and more!

Enhanced Marketplaces!

  • During Campus Activities Marketplaces, you will now see more talent performing live within their booths! Not all NACA’s amazing acts get to perform on the showcase stage, so this is a great chance to sample more acts to bring to your campus!

  • A new Conversation-Friendly Marketplace. An exclusive hour on Saturday focused on conversations in a more sensory-friendly experience. No booth demonstrations or interactives will be happening in the exhibit hall during this hour.

  • Access to dozens of exhibitors & vendors in the Campus Activities Marketplace. Save programming dollars from on-site and conference attendee discounts from participating exhibitors and vendors.

Explore Civil Rights Landmarks

Come to NACA® Birmingham and you'll be near many landmarks of the Civil Rights Movement. You can engage in thoughtful reflection as you visit sites where civil rights leaders experienced strong opposition, violence, and the attempted destruction of their churches and meeting places in the fight against segregation and other forms of racism. We encourage you to consider a self-guided tour and/or find time to visit the many museums, landmarks, and sites during your time in the city.

And More!

  • Multiple showcases, interactives, and programming activation spaces featuring the best acts, programs, and experiences to bring to your campus.
  • And a few surprises!

Sheraton Construction Update: The Sheraton Lobby is currentyl under renovation and the primary entrance is closed. Please review the information provided on the Hotel & Travel tab to enter and check-in, as well as access the Ballroom spaces.
