Interested in volunteering with NACA® South?! It's a wonderful way to build strong relationships with others in the NACA community, have a better understanding of how the conference runs, and develop programmatic and leadership skills in a unique context.
On-site conference volunteer positions is a good way to get a holistic taste of what goes into the different elements of the conference. These opportunities range from detail-oriented, behind-the-scenes positions to people-oriented, problem-solving positions, including: Marketplace assistant, Volunteer Center assistant, badge checker, meal ticket collector, ed session counter, convention center guide, résumé evaluator and Educational Session Reviewer. Sign ups for on-site volunteering begin Aug. 1, 2019.

Serve on the NACA® South Stage Crew!
Want to gain valuable experience in a professional production setting? Serve on the NACA® South Stage Crew! The work includes a variety of tasks typical of stage crew work: loading and unloading trucks, moving, lifting and placing equipment (and some HEAVY lifting); assembling and setting up band equipment, sound, lights and staging equipment; operating follow spotlights, house lights and stage curtains; moving and placing risers, screens and stage props, helping with the general organization of the stage and venue, including some cleaning, etc.
Apply by Aug. 1 to be considered. You should reserve the time period from Sept. 26 through Sept. 30 for your Stage Crew commitment. More details can be found on the application.

Planning the conference is a huge undertaking, with positions ranging from Advisor Networks Coordinator, Block Booking Coordinator and Conference Treasurer to Diversity Initiatives Coordinator, Graduate Intern Coordinator, Professional Development Programs Coordinator, Showcase Production Coordinator and much, much more.
