Showcase Selection Volunteers

Take an active role in determining who will appear on the NACA^® Live showcase stage! Apply for a position on the Showcase Selection Committee, which is responsible for selecting the showcase acts. This volunteer opportunity is open to all NACA school members.

This application should take about 10 minutes to complete. Once you start the application you will need to complete it. You will not be able to save it and come back later.

Please read the below information carefully before you complete the application:

NACA^® Live Showcase Selection Committee Time Commitment

• The committee will meet via Zoom from Friday, November 3rd to Thursday, November 9th.
• Committee members must be able to make all scheduled calls throughout the week.
  • Tentative Schedule:
    • Orientation: Friday, November 8th, 1pm ET
    • Round 1 (reviewing all submitted videos): November 8th following orientation, to be completed by Wednesday, November 13th at 12:00 PM ET
      • Expect the independent review and scoring of round 1 materials to take 7-8 hours
    • Round 2: Wednesday, November 13, 2 - 4 PM ET
      • Round two should take approximately 2 hours to independently review and score materials.
    • Round 3: Ranking Sheets due Thursday, November 14th, 12 PM
• The overall time commitmentfor members of the NACA Live Showcase Selection committee is approximately 12 hours over 6 days, by completing the following application you are agreeing to this time commitment.

Selection Criteria

• Previous attendance at a NACA conference is preferred but not required.
• Training about effective decision making and NACA policies will be conducted at the beginning of the process.
• Applicants must not be a current or former employee or intern of an NACA associate member firm or agency, nor may they plan to be employed by or serve as an intern with an associate member firm or agency within the next year.
• The membership of the committee must remain anonymous through the selection process.
• The committee membership will be sensitive to the representation of the Association (i.e. regions, school location, size and type of institution, gender, ethnic background, etc.).
