This form is for anyone interested in applying to NACA's Leadership Fellows Program. For more information about the program, visit the Leadership Fellows webpage.
Seven Fellows will be selected from new professionals (1-3 years) from underrepresented populations within the NACA membership. The program is designed to allow participants to participate in professional development, experience mentorship, strengthen their network, and become familiar with NACA governance, programs and opportunities.
Seven Fellows are selected each June and each Fellow is paired with a mentor. The Fellows’ responsibilities include attending NACA® Live or one regional conference; presenting at least one educational session at the event; writing an article for Campus Activities Programming® magazine; and participating in regular virtual calls with the Leadership Fellows Coordinator, mentors, and other Fellows.
Leadership Fellows will contibute to the planning of NACA Live® in a support role. They will assist the NACA Live Team in planning and facilitating at least two initatives. This includes but is not limited to full team and functional area calls. This experience is designed to provide an opportunity to explore the behind the scenes work that goes into preparing for a national convention.
Leadership Fellows Program cohorts begin May 1 and ends November 1st (18 months).
Applications for the 2026-2027 Leadership Fellows cohort close May 1.
If you apply after the deadline, your application will be considered for next years' cohort.
