Engh Elected Chair-Elect

The National Association for Campus Activities is pleased to announce Ellen Engh from Wartburg College (IA) has been elected to serve as the 2026-27 Chair-Elect of the Board of Directors beginning May 1, 2026. Engh, who was elected by the Board during its recent December meeting, will transition to Chair of the Board of Directors in May 2027.

"Ellen brings a deep passion for engagement, a genuine love for this association, and a people-centered leadership style that will serve NACA exceptionally well," says current Board of Directors Chair Alicia Bates, Ed.D. "I am excited to partner with her in this next chapter and confident in the impact she will have on our vision to create college communities where everyone belongs."

Engh received her bachelor's degree from Wartburg College and her master's degree from Western Illinois University. She currently serves as Director, Alumni & Parent Engagement at Wartburg College having previously worked for the University of Central Oklahoma, College of Saint Mary (NE), and Millikin University (IL). Throughout her career, Ellen has served in a variety of roles overseeing student programming boards, student organizations, homecoming, residence hall councils, new student orientation, and leadership programming.

Within the Association, Engh was elected to the Board of Directors as a general board member in 2023, having previously volunteered with the Central and Northern Plains regions, summer institutes, 2020 NACA Live in Denver, and the Live Events Action Group.
