When making sense of it all in your own mind, avoid yes/no, black/white thinking. Join Tami to learn how to support veteran students in finding the good, bad, strength and weakness that is not always cut and dry.

 

Tamara (Tami) Thacker is a U.S. Navy Veteran and Veteran Services Coordinator at UC Riverside. At UCR, she serves military-affiliated students with their transition to a civilian setting by networking and mentorship. She provides advocacy and empowerment to all our military connected students.
