In light of recent events in higher education regarding the resignation Dr. Claudine Gay and the death of Dr. Antoinette “Bonnie” Candia-Bailey, we are offering a brave space to discuss issues impacting Black women in higher education. Research indicates that Black women on campuses are more harshly judged by students, non-Black colleagues, and supervisors. This can impact mental health and causes inequitable expectations. Join us to discuss these issues and ways to provide support.
