NACA® Conferences - COVID-19 Protocols

Daily Self-Monitoring Questions:

1. ​Are you experiencing any potential COVID-19 symptoms (click for a full list)?

​If yes:
  • Do not enter the conference. 
  • Contact NACA's COVID Response Line - (765) 382-6843
  • Get tested
  • Review CDC Guidance.
2. Have you tested positive for COVID-19?
​If yes:
  • Do not enter the conference. 
  • Contact NACA's COVID Response Line - (765) 382-6843
  • Get tested
  • Review CDC Guidance.

​3. Have you been exposed to a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 but are not experiencing symptoms and/or tested positive? 

​If yes:
  • Wear a mask during NACA-sponsored events.
  • Self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19.


General COVID-19 Health & Safety Measures

  • Proof of a negative test within 48 hours of arrival is required for all attendees regardless of vaccination status. For more information & FAQs, visit NACA's Health & Safety Measures for NACA Events.
    • Proof of vaccination in lieu of a negative test will not be accepted for entry into a NACA event. While we strongly encourage attendees who are able and eligible be up-to-date with their vaccination and booster(s), vaccination in not required for participation.
  • We encourage all attendees to self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 (symptoms typically include fever, cough, and shortness of breath). In the event you experience symptoms or test positive, follow the guidelines below.
  • Masking is strongly encouraged and required for participants who have been exposed to a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19.
  • We will provide verbal reminders and app push notifications to self monitor. In the event an attendee has a confirmed positive COVID case, we will notify attendees via email and app notification.
  • NACA may change, update, or add to these requirements at any time as it deems prudent to best protect the health and safety of attendees and others. 

Before the Event

  • Review NACA's Health & Safety Measures for NACA Events.
  • Print, sign, and bring the COVID-19 Waiver with you to the registration check-in.
  • Prepare to take a COVID 19 test within 48 hours of arrival at the NACA Event. Visit this COVID Tests website for information on getting an at-home test or scheduling a test at a site.
  • (How to) Verify your negative test with CrowdPass 
    • A conference-specific link will be included in pre-conference emails to attendees starting 2 weeks in advance of the conference and available on the conference website. While this information is being provided 2 weeks out, don't begin submitting your test for verification until 48 hours in advance of your arrvial at the conference.

    • Be sure to check your spam/junk folder for CrowdPass acceptance/rejection emails. Acceptance emails will contain the Event Access QR Code and rejection emails will provide information on how to resubmit.
  • Self-monitor for the ten (10) days leading up to your arrival at the event and do not attend if you experience any COVID-19 symptoms.
  • Consider getting up-to-date with the COVID-19 vaccination and booster(s) if you have not yet done so and are able and eligible.

During the Event

  • Self-monitor for symptoms. Take a few minutes each morning to answer the questions at the top of this page.
  • Practice good hygiene and thoroughly wash your hands.
  • Consider wearing a mask.

If you experience any COVID-19 symptoms or test positive during the event:

  • Do not re-enter the conference.
  • Contact NACA's COVID Response Line - (765) 382-6843.
  • Get tested. Find a testing site.
  • Review CDC Guidance if you believe you are sick

If you believe you have been exposed to a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19:

  • Wear a mask during NACA-sponsored activities.

  • Self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms and in the event symptoms develop, follow the protocols above.


After the Event

  • Participants and volunteers agree to self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 
  • If you experience any symptoms of COVID-19 and/or test positive within 5 days after participating in a NACA event, please notify us by email at memberrelations@naca.org.
