Learning Outcomes
STUDENTS who complete Student Government Basics will:

Demonstrate an understanding of the basic functions of SG and the role SG plays on college campuses.

Demonstrate an understanding of the role and authority of student government in community, state, regional, and national events and initiatives.

Demonstrate ethical leadership practices including equitable and responsible stewardship of resources.

Create strategies to engage students, gain input, and maximize student government presence.
ADVISORS who complete Student Government Basics will:

Demonstrate an understanding of the role and authority of student government in community, state, regional, and national events and initiatives.

Train students on the basic functions of SG and the role SG plays on college campuses.

Identify strategies to strengthen their growing network of student government advisors.

Demonstrate and communicate ethical leadership practices including equitable and responsible stewardship of resources.
