June 27-30

University of Denver (CO)

Audience: Professional Staff

The Student Organizations Institute offers higher education professionals and student organization advisors the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the principles in training advisors, risk management, legal issues, student group conduct, and other topics related to working with student organizations.

This institute will include a balance of traditional institute instruction style as well as small group breakout sessions and other networking opportunities.

Whether you have direct responsibilities for overseeing a student organization program or you are involved with advising student group leaders, participants will interact with facilitators and other participants to learn about both general and specific topics related to the culture, structure, resources, tools, and techniques that will help them improve the management of student organizations and their activities on campus.

The Student Organizations Institute is presented in partnership by the Association of College Unions International; the Association of Student Conduct Administration; the National Association for Campus Activities; and NIRSA: Leaders in Collegiate Recreation.

*You must be 18 years old or older to participate
