Purpose: The purpose of NACA® Near Me is to offer local and affordable opportunities to facilitate networking, idea sharing, and professional development for advisors in campus activities who are within a 3-hour driving range of the event.
Overview: NACA® members are
encouraged to submit an online application for a fall, spring, or summer
event. The applications must detail how the $750 grant will be used for
the event. All events must be scheduled so as
not to be within 30 days of the NACA® regional conference (or neighboring
regional conference) associated with the host institution, the National
Convention, or summer institutes with related educational content. For
the 2018-2019 academic year, a selection committee comprised of volunteers and
office staff will select up to seven events.
