Biases. We all have them. But how do they show up in the planning and execution of programs? This webinar will discuss potential implicit biases in programming and how to work with your team to ensure your programs are more inclusive to various student needs.

Presenter(s)

Tristen Johnson (she, her, hers) is the Assistant Director of Multicultural Affairs at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg and the chairperson of the Inaugural Diversity and Inclusion Conference Committee at USFSP. She holds a masters degree from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and a bachelors degree from Western Illinois University. She is currently working on her Ph.D at Illinois State University. Her research will focus on Black women professionals who work in diversity roles at predominantly white institutions. She is the owner of The Tristen Johnson, LLC, where she provides diversity and inclusion trainings and other various workshops for organizations. She enjoys creative writing and traveling. Her favorite movie of all time is the original Lion King!
