#NACA19 Graphics Competition Categories and Submission Guidelines

Judging According to Campus Size

Within each category, submissions will be divided into 3 divisions by size:

  • Division I (Small Schools – less than 10,000)
  • Division II (Medium Schools – between 10,001 and 25,000)
  • Division III (Large Schools – above 25,001)

Outstanding Flyer
Submissions must be a flyer printed on paper 8.5X11 or smaller. All submissions must be designed by a staff member or student of the institution.

Outstanding Poster
Submissions must be a poster printed on paper larger than 8.5X11. All submissions must be designed by a staff member or student of the institution.

Outstanding Website
Submissions must be a website for people to learn more about the organization and events. All submissions must be designed by a staff member or student of the institution.

Outstanding Apparel
Submissions may include any form of apparel, such as t-shirts, polos, jackets, hats, and so on. Apparel can be for organization members, giveaways, or any organizational event. All submissions must be designed by a staff member or student of the institution.

Outstanding Non-Poster Publicity
Submissions may consist of any marketing tactics that are not flyers or posters. Entries include but are not limited to promotional items, buttons, stickers, banners, and so on. All submissions must be designed by a staff member or student of the institution.

Outstanding Digital Media
Submissions must at least ten seconds long and no more than seven minutes long. Entries may be created to do the following but are not limited to promoting events, reviewing an event, recruiting for an organization, etc. All submissions must be designed by a staff member or student of the institution.

Outstanding Social Media Campaigns
Submissions may include multiple components for an event or an organization, such as but not limited to social media graphics, promotional items, printed flyers and posters, and so on. All submissions must be designed by a staff member or student of the institution.

Outstanding Multi-Page Publications
Submissions may include brochures, booklets, annual reports, guidebooks, and so on. All submissions must be designed by a staff member or student of the institution.

Submission Applications Open from January 4 - January 28

Online Judging will take place from January 28 - February 11

Winning Submissions will be showcased at the NACA National Convention from February 16-19
*All finalists/winners will be required to provide a hard copy on-site that will be displayed.
