Student Affairs Global Experience (SAGE)

The Student Affairs Global Experience (SAGE) provides substantive opportunities for students to learn about the diverse cultures and values of the world, and provides global experiences that will enable students to function in a multicultural milieu. SAGE programs are designed to provide exposure for students to live and work within an increasingly interdependent world, by providing them with the leadership skills necessary to succeed in a global marketplace and help them to understand themselves as intercultural citizens of a global community. EF Tours, Spelman College and NACA are sponsoring a tour to Brazil and Argentina that is open to all college students and staff.

Trip dates are May 31, 2009 – June 9, 2009

 Schedule:
Day 1    Fly overnight to Brazil
Day 2    Rio de Janeiro
Day 3    Corcovado • Rio de Janeiro
Day 4    Rio de Janeiro
Day 5    Iguaçu
Day 6    Iguaçu
Day 7    Iguaçu • Buenos Aires
Day 8    Buenos Aires
Day 9    Buenos Aires
Day 10 Arrive home

• Round-trip airfare departing from Atlanta, Georgia
• 7 overnight stays in hotels with private bathrooms (9 with extension)

• Total price is $3,100. Payment plan available. All balances must be paid by March 1, 2009.
• The $95 Enrollment fee and Registration form should be submitted by September 15, 2009.

 To sign up, follow these instructions:
1)  Go to http://www.eftours.com/. On the top right hand tab, click on “For Students/Parents.”
2)   In the bottom right corner, click on “Enroll in your teacher’s tour” and type in trip number 562381.
3)  On the next screen, click on the tour “Brazil and Argentina (10 days)” and then on “Yes Proceed to
      Form.”
4)  Complete steps 2-4.
5)  You will need a credit card to complete the online enrollment.
