2011 NACA Foundation Silent Auction
At the 2011 National Convention, the Silent Auction brought in $1110 for the NACA Foundation. Bidding wars for autographed Convention shirts by Hanson, Josh Gracin, BJ Novak, Nick Cannon, and Ross Matthews, as well as an autographed football by the entire Tuohy family, including Michael Oher, started early in the week, and contributed heavily to the final fundraising total.

Thank you to every school and company that donated items, as well as our very competitive bidders!
2011 NACA Foundation Online Auction
As a brand new initiative, NACA teamed up with BiddingforGood.com®, an online auction service aimed at helping raise money for charitable causes. We had all types of items available – vacations, concert tickets, gift certificates, the works! We also auctioned off entertainment services from our Associate Members for Schools to bid at prices that were significantly lower than their regular booking price. Not only did the online auction raise $2633 for the NACA Foundation, it helped schools save money on great entertainment acts for their campuses and established new business relationships between Associates and Schools! Thank you to BiddingforGood.com®, Associate members who donated acts and services, and all of our bidders!
30 for 30 Campaign
The 30th Anniversary of the NACA Foundation is right around the corner, so we’re asking all of our members to pledge to donate $30 during the 2011-2012 year. Donors have the option to donate the whole amount up front, or pledge to donate over the course of the year – NACA will send you reminders! You can even make a pledge in the name of someone who you’d like to honor – great way for program board members to thank their advisor! We successfully kicked this campaign off at the 2011 National Convention, and the following donors are officially a part of our “30 for 30 Club”!
• Dan Ashlock
• Melissa Beer
• Josh Brandfon
• Kim Bruemmer

2011 NACA Foundation Flamingo Bowling Tournament
They came. They bowled. They conquered.
Congratulations to the NACA Foundation Bowling Tournament Champions,
The Little Lebowski Urban Achievers and our individual bowlers with the highest score for male and female,
Coz Lindsay and
Kim Bruemmer!

Our first-ever bowling tournament was a huge success, raising
$2145 for the NACA Foundation and proved that this is the beginning of a wonderful National Convention tradition. We will be holding the
2nd Annual NACA Foundation Bowling Tournament at the 2012 National Convention in Charlotte, NC, so keep checking back for more information on how to register and become a sponsor of the event that everyone is still talking about!

Also, a big thank you goes out to those who purchased books from Collegiate EmPowerment. Through our partnership with Collegiate EmPowerment, $1,009.00 was donated to the NACA Foundation. To date, Collegiate EmPowerment has donated $6,034.00 from book sales at the National Convention for the past 6 years!
2010 Ross-Fahey Golf Tournament
The Northeast Region raised an amazing $13,460 for Northeast Scholarships, particularly to increase the endowment of the Bedini Student Scholarships. Being the 10th Annual tournament, they raised $3,000 more than last year, proving that despite a struggling economy, NACA Volunteers and friends love their golf! Thank you to the planning committee as well as everyone who participated! We look forward to another decade of the event!
