Collegiate EmPowerment Annual Gift
Anthony J. D’Angelo, founder and chief visionary officer of Collegiate EmPowerment (NJ), presented a check to the NACA Foundation during the Professional Development Luncheon. This is the fourth year in a row that Collegiate EmPowerment has donated a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the book Inspiration for Student Leaders. This year’s proceeds totaled $1,079.
Sweatshirt Auction
School and associate delegates from throughout the country donated T-shirts and Sweatshirts to the 2008 NACA Foundation Sweatshirt Auction. These items were bid on during the Convention with the winning bidder taking the items home on the last evening. This year the Sweatshirt Auction raised $782 for the Foundation.
2008 NACA/Swank Motion Pictures, Inc. Poster Auction
Swank Motion Pictures donates the mounted film posters which are on display at their booth in the Campus Activities Marketplace to the NACA Foundation to auction off during the Convention. This year the posters raised $267 for the Foundation.Total amount raised during the National Convention equal $2,128.
2008 Ross-Fahey Golf Tournament
This NACA Northeast event was very successful. This year’s tournament raised approximately $8,500 towards endowing the New England McCullough Scholarship. Thanks to all of the sponsors, players, participants and especially the volunteers who put this event together.
