Non-Profit Affiliate Membership

2012-2013 Affiliate Membership Application
(Tip: When printing this application, be sure to select "fit to page" in your print settings.)

If you are a non-profit organization whose services, products or programs are related to campus activities, you would be eligible to become a non-profit affiliate member. Non-Profit Affiliate benefits include the ability to preview talent showcases and participate in Block Booking. Non-Profit Affiliate members may also choose to exhibit at regional conferences or the NACA® National Convention, following all applicable associate member policies regarding the purchase of booth space and delegate fees. Nonprofit Affiliate members are not eligible to apply for showcasing opportunities at the NACA® National Convention, regional conferences or NACA® Mid Atlantic Festival.

Benefits of a Non-Profit Affiliate membership include:

Exhibiting: The NACA® National Convention, regional conferences and NACA® Mid Atlantic Festival provide Non-Profit Affiliate members with the opportunity to exhibit and network in the NACA Campus Activities Marketplace or CAMP. The CAMP is where Non-Profit Affiliate members can meet one-on-one with student buyers and their advisors. The exhibit & delegate fees at the NACA® National Convention is discounted to Non-Profit Affiliate members.

Block Booking: Block Booking is a process in which schools in close geographic proximity book an act for a block of dates. This allows schools to share many of the logistical costs and helps provide more attractive pricing by letting your act confine its touring, localize its routing and, in the end, save money in touring expenses. The Block Booking process is a year-round effort for both Non-Profit Affiliate members and schools.

NACA® National Convention & Regional Conferences: In addition to the annual NACA® National Convention, each of NACA’s seven regions offers conference and meeting opportunities for members. These events, held in different locations across the country, provide:

• The chance to preview live talent showcases

• The opportunity to participate in Block Booking

• The opportunity to network face to face with school members

• The ability to increase visibility through exhibiting

Publications & Resources

•Individual subscription to Campus Activities Programming™ magazine

•Access to the NACA® Online Membership Directory

•Non-profit affiliate members also receive member discounts on all resources and articles purchased from NACA’s resource library.

 Advertising Opportunities
Regular advertising in NACA publications can keep your company's name and its services in front of campus activities buyers. NACA publications are mailed directly to programming boards and campus activities advisors at NACA member schools. NACA advertising is an affordable, effective way to promote your business directly to buyers. Advertising opportunities include:

  • Campus Activities Programming™: Published eight times a year, Campus Activities Programming™ is a full-color publication featuring news and articles about campus activities and the trade, including articles written by and for both school and associate members. With a circulation of more than 3,100, the magazine’s readership includes campus activities boards and advisors, as well as other areas of student life at NACA member schools and NACA associate members.
  • The NACA National Convention Program: Each year, more than 2,000 delegates from schools across the country attend NACA’s National Convention. The NACA® National Convention Program, which is distributed on site, features information on Convention showcases, educational sessions, special events and other important Convention-related information.
  • Regional Conference Programs: Individual regional conferences also publish conference Programs, which provide another advertising opportunity for Non-Profit Affiliate members. These Programs are developed and published at the regional level and are a good way to get your name and information in front of a more geographically concentrated audience.
  • NACA® National Convention and regional conference sponsorships: There are many sponsorship opportunities for NACA Non-Profit Affiliate members at the National Convention, and at each of the seven regional conferences. Regional conference sponsorship opportunities range from in-kind donations to custom opportunities depending on the regions’ needs.

 Online Exposure and Information
NACA understands the value of exposure through technology. Non-Profit Affiliate members can submit their artists and performers’ tour schedules so that schools can view this information online. Schools members post reviews of artists and performers who visit their campuses; Non-Profit Affiliate members can view these reviews online through Artist Performance Reports
