2009 Research Grant Recipients
The National Association for Campus Activities is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2009 NACA Research Grant. This grant is designed to encourage research that focuses on issues related to campus activities. The NACA Education Advisory Group selected the recipients out of the 15 proposals submitted for the grant, which is being awarded for the first time. The recipient of the Comprehensive Award will receive a stipend of $2500 and travel to NACA National Conventions, while those receiving the Secondary Awards will receive a stipend of $500

Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis - Student Event Planning using Risk Management: A Moral Process?
Secondary Award Recipients:
- Impact of online social networking on campus activities/life.
University of Nevada Las Vegas - Anticipatory Socialization of New College Students: Connectivity Experiences on Facebook
- Impact of and involvement in campus activities on academic performance/success
Maryland Community College Activity Directors Association - A multi-institutional investigation of student motivation to participate in Service, Leadership, Shared Interest and Recreational co-curricular programs and student activities at two-year institutions.
